(pictured above with my Lhasa Apso, Am/Can/Mex Ch. Magestic Gyad Po at 4 mos.) The Beginning It all started innocently enough when, for my 12th birthday, I received my first show dog--a Lhasa Apso. From that point, until now, I have always shared my life with a canine company--actually many! From Lhasa Apsos to Shih Tzus to Whippets, my love affair with my dogs has never dwindled. My mother, Lois Magette, and I have shared the entire “dog experience” and have spent decades studying dogs, going to dog shows and having a great time in the process. We have been extremely fortunate to have met wonderful people, forged great friendships and learned from the best. In each of the breeds with which we have been involved we have always sought out knowledgeable breeders and have been fortunate to be able to purchase wonderful representatives of each breed. We have enjoyed the process and have been greatly rewarded. While our breeding programs have always been of a boutique nature, each litter has been thoughtfully planned. Consequently, we have had our share of success in the show ring, and more importantly, have produced animals who are not only lovely examples of their breeds, but wonderful family companions. We look forward to the future and continuing our adventure.
